Deliverability first, then the campaign
Email Marketing Campaigns And PPC Tactics
Most agencies burn a sending domain before anyone teaches them deliverability. The campaign goes out, the mail lands in spam, and the owner rewrites the copy. The copy was never the problem. This bootcamp session builds email marketing in the right order, over three live hours. You set up the sending records and warmup, then the stack behind them. Then you build a campaign a decision maker answers, and the paid side that runs beside it. The session is for digital marketing and software development agencies.

What the session covers, in order
Session Overview
This session builds cold email in the right order, starting with whether your mail reaches the inbox at all. When a campaign gets no replies, most owners rewrite it first: a sharper subject line, a shorter opening, a different offer. Usually none of it helps, because the mail never reached the inbox. The sending records were never set and the domain was never warmed. Every new version went to the same spam folder as the last.
So the session starts before the writing. Deliverability comes first: SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the sending domains, and domain warmup. Then comes the stack that runs it, Smartlead and GoHighLevel. With it in place, replies reach a person instead of getting lost between tools.
Only then does the session turn to the campaign. You build sequences and messaging templates on the outbound message structure, one of the program’s named frameworks. Sends are narrowed by niche and by region, not one message to every market. The session closes on paired PPC, the paid side that runs beside the campaign.
Built in that order, email becomes a channel you can measure, fix and scale. You stop guessing at the copy.
A domain burned before anyone checked the records
Sending records and warmup in place first
Cold email that reads as a pitch
Outreach a decision maker answers
One message sent to every market
Sends narrowed by niche and region

What You Will Be Able To Do After This Session
What you can do the day after the session that you could not do before it.
- 01Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and warm a sending domain before a campaign touches it
- 02Run the campaign from Smartlead and GoHighLevel, so every reply reaches a person
- 03Write sequences on the outbound message structure that a decision maker answers
- 04Narrow sends by niche and by region, instead of mailing one message to every market
- 05Pair PPC with the campaign, so the paid side and the outreach work together
It looks like a copywriting problem
- Usually a data problemFixed in Data Extraction And Validation Techniques
- Or a deliverability problemFixed here, before the writing starts
When outbound stops working, the cause is usually one of these two, not the copy. This session fixes the deliverability problem first.
Here is the order the three hours build it in.
The three hours, in the order they run
Full Agenda, Hour By Hour
The three hours run in four parts, from the sending records at the start to paired PPC at the end. Each part builds on the one before it. Choose a layer to see what it covers and the problem it answers.
Opening
Deliverability first
What it covers
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC
- Sending domains
- Domain warmup
The problem it answers
Most agencies burn a domain before anyone teaches them deliverability, and every campaign after it lands in spam.
Then
The stack behind it
What it covers
- Smartlead
- GoHighLevel
- Where a reply goes, and who sees it
The problem it answers
Leads arrive, then get lost between tools, because nothing connects the send to the person who should answer.
Then
The campaign
What it covers
- The outbound message structure
- Sequences and messaging templates
- Niche narrowing and region specific sends
The problem it answers
Cold email reads as a pitch and gets deleted, and the same message goes to every market.
To close
Paired PPC
What it covers
- PPC paired with the campaign
- The paid side and the outreach together
The problem it answers
Paid search and outreach run as two separate efforts, so neither helps the other.
What you keep after the session
Tools And Resources Handed Out
When the three hours end, this is what you keep.
- The slide contentThe session’s slides, to work from when you set up your sending domain.
- The recordingFor up to two partners from your agency, so whoever runs your email can watch the session after you.
- The resource pack and templatesHanded out with the session, alongside the recording and the slides.
- A Q&A thread for this topicIn Basecamp, the members’ online workspace, where questions are answered between sessions by the people who set the work.
The work after the session
Live Implementation And Homework
The session ends on your own sending setup, and you build it in the week after. The homework is small on purpose: one assignment, not a long worksheet.
- 1
Apply it to your own domain
A small assignment after the session, done on your own sending setup and niche, not on an example.
- 2
Post it to the topic thread
Questions and drafts go to this session’s Q&A thread, where the coaches and the cohort answer.
- 3
Run it against the same list
The list from the data session and the LinkedIn sequence use the same prospects. Email joins that one outbound system instead of starting a second one.
What we ask of you
- Turn up live: attendance is the first thing the programme measures.
- Put the work into practice between sessions, not only watch.
- Ask in the thread, and help the others.

Questions about this session
FAQs
My cold emails are not getting replies. Is it the copy?
Usually not, or at least not first. Outbound that stops working is most often a data problem or a deliverability problem that looks like a copy problem. This session starts with deliverability for that reason. The data side is its own session, Data Extraction And Validation Techniques.
Why does the session start with deliverability rather than writing?
Because none of the writing matters until the mail arrives. SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the sending domains and the warmup decide whether a message reaches the inbox at all. A domain burned on a first campaign also hurts every campaign sent after it.
Which tools does the session use?
It uses Smartlead and GoHighLevel, the stack behind the sending, alongside the sending records themselves. The session shows how the stack fits together, so a reply reaches the person who should answer it. It does not sit in a tool nobody checks.
What does PPC have to do with cold email?
The session closes on paired PPC: the paid side run beside the email campaign rather than as a separate effort. Paid lead generation goes further in Facebook Lead Generation Tactics, which is its own session in the Lead Generation track.
