For top rated freelancers who want more than one platform

Coaching For Upwork And Marketplace Freelancers

Coaching for Upwork and marketplace freelancers helps you turn a profile that wins work into a business that does not depend on one platform. Your badge, reviews and response time show that you win the work. They do not show where next month’s work comes from if the platform changes its rules. The mastermind year helps you fix that, for digital marketing and software development agencies.

  • A fifty two week sequence
  • Twenty agencies per cohort
  • Every price published

You are in the right place if

  • A contract ends and the month starts again at zero.
  • Every lead you have ever had arrived through one platform.
  • You have years of five star work, but buyers who do not use that platform cannot see it.

If two of these three sound familiar, the next sections explain what causes them.

Winning work, then starting again after every contract

Where You Are Right Now

Your profile works, but the agency you want is still ahead of you. You rank, you get invited and you close the work. Then the contract ends, the month starts again and you are bidding against someone who has chosen to charge less. Your rating is not what holds you back. The problem is that your pipeline, your income and your proof all sit on a platform you do not own.

We do not tell you to leave the marketplace. It is a good channel, and the year treats it as one. In the first quarter you work on the profile that ranks and on the portfolio model, which treats an account as an acquisition channel rather than a job. The same quarter covers the ICP, the pricing packages and outreach that does not depend on a platform. The marketplace is not the problem. The problem is that it is your only channel, so one platform decides how much work you get.

So the year moves your pipeline, your income and your proof onto channels you own, one at a time, in the order below. You follow a fifty two week sequence in a fixed order, alongside owners who are a step or two ahead of you.

What this page will not do
  • Tell you to delete your profile. It is a channel, and the programme teaches it as one.
  • Call your rating luck. It is the hardest thing you have earned, and the year builds on it.
  • Hide a price. Every price we charge is published on one page, so you do not need a call to see it.

The free consultation lasts thirty minutes and costs nothing. It ends by naming which of the three programmes fits.

Start with the three problems that keep a good profile from becoming a business.

Three problems with one cause: relying on one platform

The Three Bottlenecks We See Most In Coaching For Upwork And Marketplace Freelancers

Coaching for Upwork and marketplace freelancers addresses three problems: income that restarts, a pipeline that belongs to the platform and proof that stays on your profile. These are the three that keep a good profile from becoming a business.

  1. The income restarts every time a contract ends

You work project to project. A good month pays for a quiet one, and the pipeline is empty again the morning after you deliver.

    What changes

    Revenue repeats instead of restarting.

The first quarter, reviewed in the fourth

MRR packages finalised, then a final review of recurring revenue near the end of the year.

    See that quarter
  2. The pipeline belongs to the platform

Every lead you have ever had came through one marketplace. It ranks you by its rules, and someone cheaper bids against you. If it changes how it works, your business has to change too.

    What changes

Inbound arrives without you chasing it.

The second quarter, with the channels either side of it

Lead generation and the search roadmap, after LinkedIn and data sourcing in the first quarter.

    See that quarter
  3. The proof belongs to the profile

You have years of five star work, but the next buyer cannot see your best work once they leave that platform.

    What changes

The work sells the next engagement.

    The fourth quarter

Portfolio and case study library, kept somewhere you control, not only on the platform where you earned it.

    See that quarter

All three have the same cause: your business depends on a platform you do not own. The year deals with them in this order, across three different quarters. Moving a pipeline is a different job from moving your proof, and neither can be done in a week.

Checkpoints measured against your own starting figures

What Changes In Month 1, Month 3 And Month 12

Month 1 sets your starting figures, month 3 brings your first retreat and month 12 is the final review. Each checkpoint is something you can check, not a feeling.

Month 1
Onboarding and baselines
Basecamp, the members’ online workspace, set up and in use; the foundational sales ground; and your first roundtable, where your KPI baselines are set in front of the cohort.
Month 3
First retreat, first channels
Your first quarterly retreat, then cold calling and staff augmentation, and the advanced lead generation that follows from them.
Month 12
Review and renewal
Final evaluations against the metrics you set in month one, the yearly guide, and contract renewal if you want it.

The three in between are the systems quarter, the second retreat and the international trip.

Investment And ROI Math

The retainer arithmetic

One client at $8,000 a month for twenty four months is $192,000. Earning the same from one thousand dollar projects means selling a hundred and ninety two of them.

The rest of the arithmetic

  • Seventy eight per cent of agencies now use retainers as their primary model, up from sixty four. A freelancer who has not made that change is bidding against people who have.

    Influencer Marketing Hub, 2026

  • A US agency’s costs are $50 to $90 an hour, and it charges $100 to $250. That gap comes from positioning, presence and packaging, not skill, and all three can be taught.

From people with a profile that already works

FAQs

Do I have to leave Upwork to do this?

No, and we would advise against it. The marketplace is a channel, and the first quarter works on it directly: the profile that ranks, and the portfolio model that turns an account into an acquisition channel. What the year adds is the channels that sit beside it, so no single platform decides your month.

I am one person. Does an agency programme fit?

It fits if the work is already there and you are turning some of it away. Each cohort is capped at twenty agencies, and most members arrive with a team of one to a handful of people. If you are still winning your first few contracts, say so on the free call.

My clients are all through the platform. Can I even take them direct?

That depends on your own contracts, so bring the question to the free consultation. What the programme builds is new direct demand, not a way around an existing agreement.

How much time does it take alongside live contracts?

Plan for a live session every Friday, 3:30 to 5:00 PM Pakistan time, ninety minutes on one subject. You get one to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it, which helps when contract hours change. The roundtable is in the third week of the month. Most of the time goes on the work between Fridays, and your current contracts pay for the change.
