For freelancers with more work than hours

Coaching For Freelancers Going Agency

Coaching for freelancers going agency helps you build a business that can accept work without you delivering every job yourself. The mastermind year provides support for digital marketing and software development agencies as you make that change. You have mastered the work; now you need a company, a team and a brand behind it.

  • A fifty two week sequence
  • Twenty agencies per cohort
  • Every price published

You are in the right place if

  • The invoice still goes out in your own name.
  • You turn work away, or take it on and spend your own extra hours finishing it.
  • Buyers focus on your hourly rate instead of the value of the work you quote.

If these problems sound familiar, the next section explains what causes them and which parts of the programme address them.

Good at the work, and out of hours

Where You Are Right Now

You already have demand, but you cannot deliver more work without giving up more of your own time. Each enquiry means turning work down or spending more evenings on it. Everything depends on you, and your working hours are already full.

You need the business structure that buyers expect when they hire an agency. That means a company to sign contracts, other people who can deliver and a brand that presents you as a business. Working harder alone does not put those things in place.

The year provides a fifty two week sequence, with one item to work on each week alongside owners further along in building their businesses. It addresses company formation, how buyers see your business and how you increase delivery capacity. The sections below explain where that work fits.

What to know before choosing
  • Keep the freelance work that pays you now. That income funds the move towards building an agency.
  • The change takes time: Hamid took three to four years, and the programme itself runs for a year.
  • Every programme price is published on one page. You can compare the options before booking a call.

The free consultation lasts thirty minutes and costs nothing. It helps you choose which programme fits your situation.

See what needs to change before your business can take on work beyond your own hours.

Build a company, a brand and delivery capacity

The Three Bottlenecks We See Most In Coaching For Freelancers Going Agency

Coaching for freelancers going agency addresses company formation, how buyers see your business and the limits of working alone. Each needs attention as you move from delivering everything yourself to running a company.

  1. There is no company, only you

You handle contracts and liabilities in your own name, and clients are buying from you personally. Questions about ownership and responsibility may only get attention when something goes wrong.

    What changes

You establish the company and clarify its contracts and responsibilities.

The first quarter, then the third

Company formation covers the US entity ladder. The third quarter addresses internal and external contracts.

    See that quarter
  2. You look like a freelancer, so you are priced like one

Your site, profile and proposal present you as one skilled person available by the hour. Buyers focus on your rate without considering the value an agency could provide.

    What changes

Your business presentation supports the prices you want to charge.

The first quarter, reviewed in the fourth

Build the agency site using the book’s first section in the first quarter. Review branding, the site and social presence in the fourth.

    See that quarter
  3. You need more delivery capacity but cannot yet afford payroll

Demand exceeds your available hours, but the hiring advice you receive assumes you can already afford a permanent team. You either refuse the extra work or add it to your own workload.

    What changes

Increase delivery capacity before committing to payroll.

The second quarter, with a follow up later in it

Staffing covers how to offer delivery capacity without committing to payroll before the work is there. That gives you another option when demand exceeds your own available hours.

    See that quarter

Company formation comes first because it affects how buyers see the business and the prices you can charge. Staffing follows in the second quarter, after you have worked on pricing. Taking on payroll before you can support your rates increases costs without solving the underlying problem.

Progress across the mastermind year

What Changes In Month 1, Month 3 And Month 12

You start by recording your business figures, then use them to assess progress as the year continues. The milestones below cover onboarding, your first retreat and the final review.

Month 1
Onboarding and baselines
Set up Basecamp, the members’ online workspace, and begin the foundational sales work. At your first roundtable, share your starting key performance indicators (KPIs) with the cohort.
Month 3
First retreat, first channels
Attend your first quarterly retreat, then cover cold calling and staff augmentation. Advanced lead generation follows those subjects.
Month 12
Review and renewal
Review your progress against the metrics you set in month one and use the yearly guide. Renew your contract if you want to continue.

Other checkpoints during the year cover the systems quarter, the second retreat and the international trip.

FAQs

I am a team of one. Is that too early for this?

No, provided the work is already there. The programme is built for someone whose demand has outgrown their hours, not for someone looking for a first client. If you are still finding the first few, say so on the free call.

Do I have to register a company before I start?

No, you can work on company registration during the first quarter. Company formation is addressed early in the programme, so you do not need to arrive with it already completed.

Can I do this without giving up my current clients?

Yes, the programme is designed to fit around your existing client work. Attend a ninety minute live session every Friday, 3:30 to 5:00 PM Pakistan time. You get one to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it. The roundtable is in the third week of the month. Allow time for work between Fridays, while your current clients continue to fund the change.

What if I only need one of the three?

A single bootcamp session at $125 may fit better if you only need help with one area. Use the free thirty minute consultation to decide which subject fits. We will also tell you if you do not need the programme yet.
