Monthly Agency Roundtable

The monthly agency roundtable lets owners discuss their figures and challenges with other members and trainers. It is for digital marketing and software development agencies. Your team reports to you, but you may have nobody asking about your own progress. Each month, two hand picked owners take the hot seat, share the problem they need help with and receive feedback from the group.

Discuss your agency’s progress and challenges

Program Overview

The monthly agency roundtable gives owners a regular place to review their figures and get help with business challenges. Your account manager reports on renewals, your sales team on leads and your delivery lead on service standards. As the owner, you may have no equivalent meeting where someone asks about your progress. Without that review, it can be difficult to see what has changed or decide what needs attention.

The roundtable runs in the third week of every month, in the Friday 3:30 to 5:00 PM Pakistan time slot. Two agency owners are hand picked for the hot seat and take about forty five minutes each. They bring their figures and a challenge, and the other members and trainers share solutions and feedback. At later roundtables, the group can ask how the work you agreed to do has progressed.

You hear from other owners running agencies in similar markets and facing similar challenges, as well as from the trainers. Their feedback comes from what they have tried in their own businesses. You can ask questions about that experience and consider how it relates to your situation. The discussion continues with the same group, so members can follow your progress from one month to the next.

The roundtable also gives you a place to discuss decisions that arise between the roadmap’s planned topics. That might be an unresponsive client, a possible hire, a market you want to enter or a tool you are considering buying. The AI, exit, international setup and team coaching pages describe this support. Bring those questions to the group to hear how other owners and trainers have approached similar decisions.

Who benefits from feedback from other owners

Who It Is For

The roundtable suits skilled freelancers, professionals starting an agency and owners whose business has stopped growing. You may have a question you have struggled to answer alone. The group lets you discuss that question with people running similar businesses and learn from their experience.

  1. You have mastered the craft

How do I turn skill into a business?

You are skilled at delivering the work, but the business still depends on you personally. Discuss what you charge and how you run the agency with other owners. Their experience can help you examine how to turn that skill into a business.

  2. You have left a job to build an agency

What do I not know that I do not know?

Starting an agency brings decisions you may not have faced in a job. Other owners can explain the problems they encountered and what they learned from them. That helps you recognise which unfamiliar details need attention before they become expensive mistakes.

  3. You are stuck below your own ability

Why has this stopped growing, and is it me?

You know you can deliver the work, but the agency is not growing as you expected. Another owner may notice a problem you have stopped seeing. Discussing the figures and decisions with the group gives you another view of what needs to change.

At each of these stages, skills alone may not answer the questions about running the business. You can contribute to the roundtable and learn from other owners’ challenges. Two hand picked owners take the hot seats each month, while the other members and trainers share feedback.

How the hot seats work

What You Get, Step By Step

Each roundtable gives two hand picked owners about forty five minutes each to discuss their agency’s figures and a challenge. Other members and trainers contribute solutions and feedback. The format below shows how the discussion works and what to prepare if you are selected.

  1. 1Before it

    Two owners are picked

Two owners are hand picked each month. Members do not take hot seats in rotation, so attending a roundtable does not mean you have a hot seat.

  2. 2The seat

    About forty five minutes each

Each selected owner shares their figures and the problem they need help with. The group discusses it with them for about forty five minutes. The diagram shows how the hot seats fit into the ninety-minute roundtable.

    Inside the ninety minutes

    45min

    First hot seat

One owner, their numbers, and the thing they are stuck on.

    45min

    Second hot seat

The same again, for the other owner picked that month.

The group discusses one owner’s challenge at a time.

About forty five minutes per owner gives the group time to ask questions and understand the details behind the problem. The other members and trainers can then share feedback relevant to that agency. Each hot seat focuses the discussion on the selected owner’s situation.

The roundtable runs 90 minutes and holds two hot seats of 45 minutes each.

  3. 3Who answers

The other members, and the trainers with them

The other members and trainers join the discussion and share solutions and feedback. The selected owner can explain the challenge and ask questions while the group helps work through it.

The same group, capped at twenty agencies, meets each month to discuss real business challenges. You can learn from both hot seats and contribute your own experience. The discussion focuses on the selected agencies and the decisions their owners need to make.

The trainers and owners who share feedback

Coaches And Subject Matter Experts

Other members share solutions and feedback alongside experienced trainers including Hamid Mahmood, Asim Naeem and Umair Amjad. The trainers use these approaches in their own companies. An owner who has faced a similar problem may also help you understand what to consider. You hear from both the trainers and the group in the same discussion.

  • Hamid MahmoodCEO, author of 7-Figure Agency Mindset A-Z

Hamid has used every agency model in his own companies. The advice on branding, finances and leadership comes from running those businesses.

  • Umair AmjadSales and staffing coach

Umair built the staff augmentation practice taught in the programme. The advice on pricing, closing and staffing comes from running that business.

    Where Umair posts

  • Asim NaeemEmail marketing and LinkedIn

Asim works on defining your ideal client and reaching them through LinkedIn and email. That experience also covers the automation supporting your outreach.

Alongside the Friday sessions, members book one to one coaching with a subject matter expert whenever they need it, on their own agency.

What the other owners contribute

  • They run agencies in similar markets and at roughly your stage.
  • Some have experience with the revenue model or market you want to discuss.
  • They can give direct feedback on your figures and the decisions you are considering.
  • They attend future roundtables where you report progress against the work you agreed to do.

Owners share what happened in their own agencies, and trainers explain approaches they use in their businesses. Each hot-seat discussion includes both kinds of experience.

Joining and setting your starting KPIs

Enrollment, Contract And Onboarding

To join, tell us about your agency, make a yearly commitment and complete onboarding. At your first roundtable, you agree starting KPIs with the cohort. The steps below help you prepare accurate figures so later discussions can measure your progress against them.

  1. 1Step one

    Tell us your stage

Complete the signup form with your role, revenue range, country and preferred payment option. We help you decide whether the mastermind fits your agency now.

  2. 2Step two

    Commit to the year

Make a yearly commitment, paid monthly or yearly. The group is capped, and nobody in the group sells to your clients. That helps members discuss their figures directly.

  3. 3Step three

    Basecamp and the questionnaire

Get access to Basecamp and learn how the group uses it. Complete the intake questionnaire so your coach can understand your agency as it stands today.

  4. 4Step four

    Your first roundtable

Agree your starting KPIs with the cohort at your first roundtable. Bring accurate figures so later roundtables can compare your progress with that starting point.

Throughout the year, attend the live session every Friday and the roundtable in the third week of the month. Use one to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it, to work on decisions specific to your agency. Apply the feedback between sessions and share what changed.

FAQs

What do I need to bring if I am in the seat?

Bring your agency’s actual figures and a problem you need help with. Focus your preparation on accurate information and the question you want to discuss, without designing a slide presentation. About forty five minutes per selected owner gives members and trainers time to understand the details and share relevant feedback.

How are the two owners chosen?

Two agency owners are hand picked for the hot seats each month. Members do not take hot seats in rotation. If you are not selected, you still join the discussion and contribute solutions and feedback with the other members and trainers.

What happens in the months I am not in the seat?

You join the discussion and share solutions and feedback during both hot seats. You can also learn from the selected owners’ challenges and the responses they receive. An owner at a later stage may be working through a problem your own agency will face as it grows.

Is this the same as the Friday session?

No. The weekly session teaches a subject to the whole cohort. The roundtable focuses on the agencies of two hand picked owners, one at a time. It runs in the third week, in the Friday slot, with other members and trainers sharing feedback on those owners’ challenges.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

Expect direct feedback from owners and trainers on the figures and challenges you share. The group is capped at twenty agencies, with nobody competing with you for the same client. You meet with the same members each month, so they can follow your progress and ask about earlier decisions.

Can I join the roundtable without the mastermind?

No. The roundtable is part of the mastermind, a yearly commitment paid $750 a month or $7,999 for the year. The programme includes Friday sessions, daily Basecamp, retreats every three months and an international trip each year. You also have one to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it. Tell us about your agency if you need help deciding whether a year fits.
