Mastermind vs One On One Coaching

This page compares a mastermind and one on one coaching for digital marketing and software development agencies. Some owners need one experienced person to look closely at one problem. Others need a group of owners who keep them on track for a full year. We offer both. The right one depends on three things: your stage, your budget and how much accountability you want.

Three questions decide it

  1. Your stageWhat the agency bills each month, and what is in the way
  2. Your budgetFrom one hour at $199 to a year at $7,999
  3. Your appetite for accountabilityWhether anybody should be checking on you between calls

What each format is

Overview

Most owners who ask this already know they need help from outside the agency. They have not yet decided what kind of help. A coach on a call is focused and private. A group of other owners takes longer to get going, but in a group it is much harder to skip the work. Both work, and both disappoint when you buy them for the wrong problem.

One to one coaching here comes in two sizes. Tier 4 is a single hour at $199 with somebody who has spent ten years and more in agency sales and delivery. You look at one problem properly, and there is nothing to commit to afterwards. Tier 6 is business development consulting on a six month contract at $1,500 a month. It gives you two to three dedicated hours a week to build the sales function together.

The mastermind is a group program. It runs fifty two weeks with twenty agencies at most. There is a live session every Friday, 3:30 to 5:00 PM Pakistan time, and one to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it. Around them sit the monthly roundtable, a retreat every three months and daily access on Basecamp, the members’ online workspace.

So the choice in mastermind vs one on one coaching is not really private help against group help. It is private attention on its own, or attention plus accountability. The rest of this page compares the three formats side by side, then matches them to the stage your agency is at.
