What a year of the mastermind builds

Mastermind Member Results

The mastermind is a fifty two week programme for digital marketing and software development agencies. This page shows what it builds in your agency, quarter by quarter: the contracts, the recurring packages, the international setup, the sales hires and the systems. We do not publish other members’ revenue, so we show you the work instead.

What this page shows

Program Overview

Many results pages show a revenue number with no group of members behind it, or an average nobody can check. We do not publish figures like that, because we do not track member revenue. What we can show exactly is what the programme builds in your agency, and that is what you are paying for.

The mastermind covers the whole agency, A to Z: sales, lead generation, systems, team, finance, branding, international setup, AI and exit. It runs in order, because an agency has to be built in order. The first quarter settles who you sell to and what you charge. The second builds your sales engine. The third turns the agency into systems, and the fourth reviews all of it and looks at what comes next.

Everything below comes from that roadmap, grouped by what it builds. Contracts and delivery SLAs are in the third quarter. Recurring packages and MRR start in the first quarter and are reviewed in the fourth. The international setup, meaning the company formation and accounts a foreign client needs to pay you, is in the first quarter. Expos follow in the second, and the US visa review in the fourth. Staffing and the sales team are in the second and third quarters, and the systems are in the third, closed out in the fourth.

None of this is a promise about your revenue. It is a promise about the work: what gets built, and in what order. The reviews further down tell the rest in members’ own words, with a short note on what they do and do not include.

Three situations this page is written for

Who It Is For

Members differ less by the size of their agency than by the problem in front of them. Most of them would say one of these three things.

  • “The work is good and the pipeline is luck”

Clients arrive through referrals, an old contact or a marketplace, and none of it repeats on purpose. The first two quarters build that part: your buyer, your price, your channels and your closing.

  • “We win the work and then it breaks”

Delivery depends on memory and on you. Contracts, SLAs, tickets, reporting and the project management revamp are in the third quarter. They are what separates an agency from a very busy freelancer.

  • “It works, and it only works because of me”

The numbers are fine, but every one of them depends on you. Role empowerment, the performance review, the final reviews and how an agency exit works are in the fourth quarter.

If more than one of these sounds familiar, that is normal. It is why the year covers them in order, one quarter at a time.

Owners at work on their own agencies

Here is what the year builds in your agency, and the quarters it is built in.

What the year builds, and when

What You Get, Step By Step

Each line below is one of the results named at the top of this page. Under it are the roadmap topics that build it and the quarters they fall in. We name the topics here; how each one is done is taught in the sessions.

  1. Signed contracts

    Second and third quarters

Contracts that protect you when a month goes badly

Most agency disputes are not about the work. They are about what nobody wrote down. By the end of the third quarter your agency has its own contracts with clients and with suppliers, and a written standard for what delivery owes a client.

    • Proposal development
    • Internal and external contracts
    • Vendor management, QA and compliance
    • Account management and delivery SLAs
    See that quarter
  2. MRR moves

    First, second and fourth quarters

Revenue that arrives whether or not you sold this month

Recurring revenue starts with how you price, before it is about how you sell. So it begins in the first quarter, with your buyer and your packages. At the end of the year it is reviewed again against what your agency has become.

    • Services and pricing packages, set against the finalised ICP
    • MRR packages and the staffing business
    • Upselling and cross selling
    • The final reviews of MRR and of pricing
    See that quarter
  3. First US clients

    First, second and fourth quarters

An agency a foreign client can actually buy from

A US buyer needs a company to sign with, an address, a bank account and a brand that looks like a real business. That work is in the first quarter. Many agencies skip it, and then lose a deal because of it.

    • International and Pakistan company formation, bank account, address, phone number and branded email
    • Your agency website, built to Section 1 of Hamid’s book
    • The authority profile, and international expos
    • The US visa options review
    See that quarter
  4. Sales hires

    Second and third quarters

A sales function that is not just you

When an agency hires a salesperson before it has a sales structure, the owner often decides that salespeople do not work. So the structure comes first. Then the people, then their training and the job levels they are measured on.

    • Selling your resource through staffing, and the staffing follow up
    • Sales management and sales structure follow ups
    • Cold calling and spoken English
    • Systems, skills and cultural training, and job levels
    • Employee retention
    See that quarter
  5. System rollouts

    Second, third and fourth quarters

An agency that keeps running when you step away

This is plain, practical work: templates, tickets, reporting lines and a dashboard that shows where the money went. It is what lets the agency stop depending on you for every answer.

    • Procedures, templates and blueprints for most of your deliveries
    • Automation of leads and system tickets
    • EOS weekly reports by department, and the calendar review
    • The project management revamp and time tracking
    • Expense optimisation and dashboards
    • Role empowerment and freeing up your time

How the year runs, and the time it asks of you

Delivery Format And Time Commitment

Everything above is built on your own agency, between the live sessions. Here is when the mastermind meets, and where the rest of your time goes.

Through the week

Each week has one live session, a shared online workspace that is open every day, and one to one coaching that you book when you need it.

  1. The Friday session

Every Friday, 3:30 to 5:00 PM Pakistan time

Ninety minutes, live, on the topic the quarter has reached. The topics run in the order an agency has to be built.

  2. One to one coaching

    Booked when you need it

One to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it, on your own agency. It becomes a group session only when your plan needs several trainers on the call.

  3. Basecamp

    Every day

Discussion threads, the roadmap and your KPI posts, with real time questions and answers between the live sessions.

The sessions are the smaller part of your time. Most of it goes on the work between them: applying the quarter’s topic to your own agency. Keep the Friday slot free, and set time aside in the week to do that work.

Hamid has used every agency model in his own companies. The advice on branding, finances and leadership comes from running those businesses.

  • Umair AmjadSales and staffing coach

Umair built the staff augmentation practice taught in the programme. The advice on pricing, closing and staffing comes from running that business.

What these reviews do not include

None of these reviews gives a revenue figure, and we have not added one. We do not track member revenue as a group, so there is no average, multiple or success rate to publish. When we have results with the agency named and the period stated, they will appear on this page.

How you join, step by step

Enrollment, Contract And Onboarding

Joining starts with a conversation. The mastermind takes twenty agencies at most, and it works best when each agency is at a stage the year can help with.

  1. A call about your stage

We talk through which of the three situations in Who It Is For sounds like yours, and whether a year of coaching fits it. If the only gap is getting clients in, we will say so. The bootcamp is a separate, shorter course for that, and its fee is not taken off the mastermind price.

  2. The Predictive Index

A ten minute assessment. It matches how you are wired to the role and the niche you commit to, so you build an agency you will not burn out in.

  3. The commitment

A yearly commitment, paid $750 a month or $7,999 for the year. The mastermind is capped at twenty agencies.

  4. Onboarding, and the first quarter

You fill in the intake questionnaire and set out your agency’s structure and current setup. Then the first quarter starts: your ICP, the year plan, your service packages and your website.

Common questions about member results

FAQs

What results do mastermind members get?

The mastermind builds the parts of an agency that results depend on. These are contracts and delivery SLAs, recurring packages and MRR, an international setup, a sales structure with people in it, and systems that run without you. We do not publish an average result, a revenue multiple or a success rate, because we do not track member revenue as a group. Members post their own KPIs in Basecamp, and those numbers belong to them.

Do you have case studies with revenue numbers?

Not yet. When we have results with the agency named, the period stated and the figures checked, they will go on this page.

When in the year do contracts and SLAs get built?

In the third quarter. It covers internal and external contracts, vendor management, QA and compliance, and account management and delivery SLAs. Proposal development comes before that, in the second quarter. The year is fifty two weeks, and we do not commit a topic to a particular week.

How much time does it take each week?

One live session every Friday, 3:30 to 5:00 PM Pakistan time, which is ninety minutes. The roundtable runs in the third week of the month, in the same Friday slot. Basecamp is open every day, and one to one coaching with a subject matter expert is booked when you need it. Most of your time goes on the work between sessions: applying the quarter’s topic to your own agency.

What does the mastermind cost, and what is included?

A yearly commitment, paid $750 a month or $7,999 for the year. It includes the roadmap for the year, the live session every Friday, and one to one coaching with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it. It also includes Basecamp and the roundtable in the third week of the month. There is a retreat every three months, with one night together and three workshops, and an international trip each year of two to three nights.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. You can pay $750 a month or $7,999 for the year. Either way it is a yearly commitment, and the prices are final.

How many agencies are in the mastermind?

Twenty agencies at most. A small group keeps the Friday sessions and the roundtable focused on members’ own agencies.

Who teaches it?

Experienced trainers including Hamid Mahmood, Asim Naeem and Umair Amjad. Hamid is the author of 7-Figure Agency Mindset A-Z. Umair coaches sales and staffing, and Asim coaches email marketing and LinkedIn. One to one coaching is with a subject matter expert, booked when you need it.
