Every day, between the sessions

Basecamp Member Community

A client goes quiet on a Tuesday. A proposal is due on Wednesday. The next session is Friday, and a week is a long time to carry a question alone. Basecamp, the members’ online workspace, is where the mastermind carries on between sessions. It holds the daily discussion, your KPIs and your roadmap, and the coaches moderate it and answer questions there.

What Basecamp is

Program Overview

Most agency problems do not wait for a Friday. A client goes quiet, a hire looks wrong, a proposal has to go out today. An owner working alone carries those questions for a week and then decides alone.

Basecamp gives mastermind members a place to take them. Every day there is real time discussion, check ins, questions and quick wins. The coaches moderate it and answer in the thread, and so do the other owners in your cohort, who face the same problems. A question that cannot wait a week goes into Basecamp.

Basecamp is also where your work can be seen. The fifty two week roadmap is tracked there. You post each week’s item before the next session, so the Friday session starts with what you actually did, not a recap of what was said. Your weekly KPI updates go in beside it. The coaches and your cohort can see your numbers every week, and that keeps you accountable for them.

You do not start with an empty workspace. You get every thread from the cohorts before yours, so the question you are about to ask has often been answered already.

Who Basecamp is for

Who It Is For

Basecamp is for digital marketing and software development agencies in the mastermind. What it changes depends on where you are starting from.

  1. You have mastered the craft

You can deliver anything, and you still make every decision alone. Basecamp may be the first place in years where someone asks what you finished this week.

  2. You have left a job to build an agency

You are used to having a team around you. Basecamp gives you one again: owners and coaches who answer the questions a new owner does not yet know to ask.

  3. You are stuck below your own ability

Plans that live only in your head do not get finished. When you post the week’s item where your cohort can see it, you have a reason to finish it.

Not ready for a year? A single bootcamp session shows you how the coaches teach, for $125. Start with one session

Delivery Format And Time Commitment

Basecamp runs online every day, alongside the rest of the mastermind, wherever you are. What you post is the work you are already doing that week: progress, challenges, your KPIs and the week’s roadmap item.

What it asks of you

  • Daily updates

Progress or challenges, as they happen.

  • A weekly KPI update

Your numbers, posted for the cohort to see.

  • The week’s item, before the session

Finished in your agency, posted in Basecamp.

What it gives back

  • Coaches who moderate the thread and answer in it

A question does not have to wait for Friday.

  • A cohort with the same problems

Check ins, Q&A and quick wins, every day.

  • Every earlier thread

    From the cohorts before yours.

FAQs

What do I post in Basecamp?

You post progress and challenges as they happen, and a weekly KPI update. You also post each week’s roadmap item once it is finished in your agency, before the next session.

Do I have to wait for the Friday session to ask a question?

No. Basecamp is open every day, and the coaches moderate it. Post your question in the thread when it comes up, and the coaches and the other owners in your cohort answer it there.

Who sees my KPI updates?

Your cohort and the coaches. They can see the record of what you shipped each week, and that is what keeps you accountable for your numbers.

Can I read what earlier cohorts discussed?

Yes. When Basecamp opens you get every thread from the cohorts before yours, so many questions already have an answer waiting.

Can I join the community without the mastermind?

No. Daily Basecamp access is part of the mastermind year, and there is no separate subscription. If you are unsure whether a year fits, tell us your stage on the signup form and we will say which programme fits your agency.
